A day at the beach is good for the soul

Yes, it's true! Beach is Best Escape Anyone Can Have.

We need the beach to refresh the soul. Beach is a place to relaxation, rest and tranquility. A month ago, I went to Yogyakarta with my friends. So many place we have visited. But still, beach is my favourite. I love the wind, the sand, and exactly the sound of the waves. Because at the beach curing all bad moods and the waves wiping away worries. It was a place I need to visited. Beach made me feel small but free as well. As you know, a day at the beach with your friends is all of the therapy you need. So, we visited Slili Beach, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Here are some photos when we were there :

Beauty and The Beast

Have you watched the movie? I was so excited to watch this. If you love disney princess stories, you must watch, I guess.

Beauty and The Beast was the cutest movie and made me wanna go out and find love, lol. I'm just kidding. I'm sooo in love with Emma Watson. She's perfect for being Belle. I was smiling throughout the entire movie and tearing up even when I know the ending, just because it was so damn good movie. This movie brought all my childhood memories back. Belle has always been my favourite princess. I love this movie because they followed the cartoon version like 99%.

Once upon a time, an Enchantress turned a handsome prince into a terrible beast when she discovered his selfishness. She left behind an enchanted rose. If the prince did not find true love before the last rose petal fell, he would remain a beast forever.

In a village nearby, Belle lived with her father. More than anything, Belle wanted an adventure like those she read about in her beloved books. Gaston wanted to marry Belle, but she refused. Belle thought he was a beastly bore, and Gaston didn't understand why she was always reading. "It's not right for a woman to read," he said. Belle's father, Maurice, was an inventor. His latest invention was an automatic woodchopper, which he was taking to a contest at the county fair. "You'll win first prize!" Belle declared.

On his way to the fair, Maurice got lost in the woods. A pack of wolves chased him to the gates of a nearby castle. Not sure what he would find inside, Maurice entered the castle grounds cautiously. Maurice could never have imagined the hideous beast that confronted him. Thinking Maurice had come to stare at him, the Beast was furious. Without mercy, he locked this unwanted visitor in the dungeon.

When her father's horse came home alone, Belle went in search of her father and found him locked up. Belle begged the Beast for Maurice's freedom. "Take me instead," she offered. The Beast agreed, making her promise to stay in the castle forever! On her first night, Belle met the castle servants. The spell cast by the Enchantress had turned them into enchanted objects! They were funny, friendly, and treated Belle like a special guest. At dinnertime, Belle refused the Beast's invitation to join him, which made him roar with frustration.

He was anxious to end the spell - and felt Belle was a sign of hope. Mrs. Potts, the teapot, and Lumiere, the candelabrum, told him to be patient and, above all, kind. Later that night, Belle came upon the magic rose the Enchantress had left behind. As Belle reached out to touch it, the Beast appeared and grabbed the precious rose. "Get out!" he yelled. Belle fled the castle on her horse but was attacked by the same wolves that had chased her father.

Risking his life, the Beast saved Belle. In the days that followed, Belle began to see the goodness in the Beast. One evening, the Beast again invited Belle to dinner. This time she accepted. After dinner, the Beast asked Belle to dance. As they whirled around the ballroom, the Beast realized he was in love with Belle. Because of his love, the Beast let Belle return home to see her father.

When Gaston heard her speak fondly of the Beast, he grew jealous and stormed the castle. Gaston stabbed the Beast and then was accidentally knocked off the roof. Belle pulled the Beast to safety.

"Please don't leave me," she sobbed. "I love you." As she spoke, the last rose petal fell. Then a shower of sparks filled the air. The Beast began to transform... into a handsome prince! The enchanted objects were filled with joy as they too turned back into humans and watched their prince and Belle fall in love anew. (source)

A man and his son were once going with their donkey to a market. As they were walking along, a countryman passed them and said: "You fools, what is a donkey for but to ride upon?". So the man put the boy on the donkey and they went on their way. But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: "See the lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides."

So the man had his boy get off, and got on himself. But, they hadn't gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: "Shame on that lazy lout to make his poor little son trudge along."

The man didn't know what to do, but at last he took his boy up before him on the donkey. By this time they had come to the town and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at. The men said: "Aren't you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey of yours-you and your hulking son?"

The man and boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the donkey's feet to it, and raised the pole and the donkey to their shoulders. They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to a bridge, when the donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the boy to drop his end of the pole. In the struggle the donkey fell over the bridge, and so did the man and the boy. 

Finally an old man who had followed them said, "That will teach you: Please all, and you will please none."

Bahagia itu nikmat. Senikmat berkumpul bersama keluarga. Bahagia itu tidak ada duanya, seperti waktu yang dihabiskan bersama keluarga. Sederhana, tidak perlu mewah. Seadanya, tanpa memaksakan kehendak. Indah. Inilah cinta yang sebenarnya. Dimana kebersamaan, kesederhanaan, kebahagiaan dan penderitaan menyatu dan menjadi sesuatu yang luar biasa.

Cinta Datang Karena Terbiasa

Seberapa sering kalian membaca atau mendengar kalimat yang saya jadikan judul? Apa kalian setuju? Atau mungkin tidak? Sebagian orang pasti pernah merasakan ini. Saya pun pernah mengalami, tapi menurut saya, yang saya alami bukan cinta sih. saya hanya mengagumi. Saya mengagumi dia karena saya terbiasa bersama dia. Semakin lama, semakin saya mengetahui kepribadiannya, sikap dia yang istimewa membuat saya kagum kepadanya. Okay selebihnya rahasia, dan pastinya nggak akan saya jabarkan disini.

Hari itu saya sedang bercerita dengan Ibu saya, bagaimana bisa orang yang sudah menjalin hubungan yang cukup lama, lalu berpisah dan dengan cepat menjalin hubungan dengan orang baru. Lalu, Ibu saya menjawab "witing tresno jalaran soko kulino". Artinya apasih? Sebelumnya saya juga nggak tahu. Tapi kata Ibu saya, intinya itu seseorang bisa menjadi cinta apabila mereka sering bertemu. Balik lagi ke judul, sama aja kan? Intinya cinta datang karena terbiasa. Ya, mereka terbiasa bertemu, lalu jatuh cinta. Menurut pengalaman, benar juga sih dan saya setuju. Walaupun bukan saya yang mengalami, tapi tepat orang terdekat saya mengalami. Saya melihat jelas sekali bagaimana orang jatuh cinta karena terbiasa bersama, walaupun sebelumnya tidak ada rasa sama sekali. Tapi itulah cinta, tanpa disadari dan direncanakan, cinta bisa muncul begitu saja.

Seperti yang sering terjadi, seseorang mau menjalin suatu hubungan, kadang suka ada pdktnya dulu. Karena si pdkt itu, makanya jadi muncul suatu rasa. Rasa itu bisa cinta, bisa juga bukan. Yakan?

Beberapa teman ada yang cerita, mereka ditinggalkan karena seorang yang mereka cintai itu bertemu dengan orang baru. Saya nggak kaget lagi dengan hal ini. Ada banyak kemungkinan kenapa bisa terjadi seperti itu, mungkin seseorang yang meninggalkan itu mendapatkan rasa nyaman, bahagia di tempat yang baru, karena sering bertemu, karena terbiasa bersama. Jadinya rasa yang sebelumnya tidak ada, bisa muncul begitu saja. Tapi kembali lagi sih keorangnya, gimana dia mengartikan rasa tersebut. Apa rasa itu hanya datang ketika dia sedang jenuh di keadaan sebelumnya atau memang rasa itu nyata tanpa alasan lainnya. Who knows. Ada juga yang cerita, mereka jatuh cinta dengan orang baru, entah itu teman kampus, atau rekan kantor dan sebagainya. Ya begitu banyak orang yang cinta karena terbiasa. Tapi, menurut saya nggak cuma cinta aja kok yang datang karena terbiasa, rasa-rasa lainnya juga bisa kok datang karena terbiasa. Seperti yang saya bilang di atas, saya kagum karena terbiasa. Saya belum cinta karena terbiasa. Hehehe

U N I N T E N D E D

Halo! Kali ini saya mau cerita sedikit tentang salah satu lagu dari MUSE yang akhir-akhir ini sering banget saya dengerin. Lagu lama sih ini tapi nggak tahu kenapa, sampai saat ini nggak pernah bosen buat dengerin lagu ini. Saat nulis artikel ini pun saya sambil dengerin lagunya. Selain alunan musiknya yang enak banget menurut saya, saya juga suka sama makna dari lagu ini. Menurut kamus sih, UNINTENDED ini artinya yang tidak diinginkan atau bisa juga tidak sengaja. Tapi coba deh kalian dengerin dan artiin dengan bawa perasaan sambil baca liriknya, kalau dari pandangan saya sih, lagu ini berisi tentang seseorang yang sedang mencoba untuk mencintai orang lain dengan keadaan sedang menyembuhkan luka karena cinta sebelumnya. Pas banget sih ini untuk orang-orang yang lagi patah hati karena dilukai oleh cinta sebelumnya, tapi mencoba untuk mencintai orang lain karena sadar bahwa dibalik hati yang terluka pasti akan ada hati yang ingin menyembuhkan luka tersebut. Jadi buat kalian yang lagi patah hati, yang hatinya sedang terluka, hancur, retak, jangan lama-lama ya sedihnya. Sebentar aja, jangan lupa bangkit lagi. Healing isn't linear, tapi kalian pasti bisa lewatin prosesnya. Dan semoga lagu ini nggak bikin kalian tambah kalut yaa. Ini sekalian saya masukin musik video beserta liriknya. Selamat mendengarkan!
